Since 1943, we have relentlessly pursued the advancement of the Gospel among the Southern California regions.

Our STORY

The Pentecostal Church of God, Southern California District, Inc., (SoCal District) is a Trinitarian, Pentecostal organization that is affiliated with the Pentecostal Church of God, Inc., of Bedford, Texas.

The SoCal District was incorporated on February 25th, 1943 under the leadership of S. B. Gillespie, District Superintendent, H.G. Goldsmith, Assistant District Superintendent, & C.W. Norton, District Secretary Treasurer.

WHO WE ARE

Connecting churches from Tulare County to the northern border of Mexico, the SoCal District fosters fellowship among the Pentecostal Church of God throughout Southern California. Our ministries are centered in local church partners, with District ministry support provided by our District Executive Staff (Bishop, Presbyter, and Secretary-Treasurer).

Our ministries include: Mountain Pointe Camp & Conference Center (formerly known as Bethel in the Hills), Men’s Ministries Department, Women’s Ministries, Department, & Youth Ministries.
